Buy which good MongoosePRO JLR cable?

MongoosePro JLR cable by DrewTech (USA) has been produced to replace the out-of-date VCM model. Approved by Land Rover and Jaguar, it is used as a full-featured dealer tool for ECU diagnostics, coding and reprogramming.it not only working well on SDD V168/V169,but also pass-throu support setting on Vida and Toyota Techstream.

There have different Quality clone Mongoose JLR cable.The High Quality ones almost same working like Original Mongoose Pro ,and stable connection to the vhielce.Open the plastic cover there have ATMEL chip as main MCU.But the cheaper ones which use IC5-2145 or IC6 MCU,which always have problems when connection with cars.

Error 1:

Unable to connect to VIM” error with Toyota Techstream.This is not a software or drivers problem (re-installing everything will not fix it).

Answer:this is a clone device design problem and the solution is really simple. All you need to do is to connect the “Chassis Ground” and “Signal Ground” pins together (4 and 5 pin) – as seen in the photo.

Error 2:

It won’t working JLR SDD,that does not read MS CAN only HS CAN.
Answer : Bad cable only buy new MongoosePro JLR with good chips for full Protocols.

Error3 :

Tested Jaguar XE 2016 ,receive different errors, and some modules are not showing.
Answer:You can removing PIN13 on cable OBDII socket,Removing pin 13 helped resolve these issues for me. Works fine configuring new module.It seems to affect communication with certain modules, which is why some errors were popping up before removing it.
